Recently, Google announced that Google Apps for Education (GAFE) accounts would receive unlimited storage. How much is unlimited? Put it to the test.
All CMS students have GAFE accounts. Even kindergartners. Here at Cornelius, students in grades 3-5 regularly log in to their Google Drive accounts in media. Some are using the accounts in their classrooms as well. Students can access their cloud storage at home with their logins and passwords. Some students have memorized them; most have not. Here's how you can figure out what it is for your child.
Login (Gaggle email address) formula:
first letter of first name, full last name, last 4 digits of student ID + "@cms.gaggle.net"
Ex. John Smith has the student ID 123456789.
His Gaggle email address will be [email protected]
Password formula:
YYMMDD of birthday.
John Smith's password is November 18, 2006.
His password is 061118.
